Rumah Baru Baby Baru..(adeke?)

I am 10 weeks pregnant as of today, with our second child. Our son is nearly turn 2, so this came as quite the surprise. Masya Allah! It’s all I could say.
Hmmm mostly I feel wonderful ... when I'm not tired. But then its hard not to be tired when you are out of bed by 5.30 a.m., leave home at 6:30 (earlier if we can get out the door…argh) and not get back home until 6:30 on an early day. Add on to that is a little son who has to be entertained, bathed, taken to day care, fed, etc. etc. There was one night that I cried when my son cried because I'm tired and frustrated and I wouldnt be able to help him with whatever it was that he wanted. I gave him what I think he needs but at this stage in my pregnancy I can't always give him what he wants and what I'd like to be able to do for him. Luckily papa was there at that moment and settled everything with faheem. It was so kesian looking at both of them slept together on that night. may Allah give me stength to go through this journey which has just started.

On another part, which I feel sooo grateful is.... I have yet to have any morning sickness. What a blessing!!! I am hoping for a babygirl this time around . A healthy baby girl that is! Even though papa and faheem were hoping for another boy..(argh I dun care guys!) Hehe.. and huh..Everyone keeps telling me that it's boy because I havent had any sickness but who knows?!!? I will find out the sex of my baby in another month or so and until then I will keep my hopes steady. If it’s a boy, I will love him just the same because it doesn’t really seem to matter anymore, just as long as the baby is healthy then we are happy enough.
At certain stage I do not hope for anything for this pregnancy as my hubby keeps telling and always remind that we can only do our part as best as we can to take care and pray for the baby and leave it the rest to god as He is the Main Creator to each one of us.I truly believe only God knows everything in the womb. Subhanallah.
‘But Allah is the best of guardians; and He is the most merciful of the merciful.Allah knows what every female(womb) bears, and by how much the wombs fall short (of completion) and or do exceed. And everysingle thing is before His sight’, in (due) proportion.
(Ar Rad:8)

P.S: The above du’a has been commonly use (Islamic medicine) for safety of baby and mother during pregnancy. E.g: for fear of miscarriage.

So now we have 6 months to go, and we are counting them down. We can't wait to see this little angel that God has given to us. To tell u the truth, being pregnant is such a blessing, When you're pregnant, you learn to love, and live not only for yourself, but for your little wonderous human growing inside you!

I really praise Allah for this 2nd bundle of joy. I have already forgotten though how labour was during my first, what I just know is that it is very painful, but the pain is overcome by the expectation and really really worth it.

So mothers out there ..be happy! Yeay!! labour is just for a few hours, but the baby is a pure gift from God.
